Head Start, in collaboration with WKAR public television and Impression 5, received a ‘Grow Up Great’ grant from PNC Bank in an effort to enhance children’s curiosity, problem solving, exploration, discovery, observation prediction and evaluation skills through the development of an inquiry based curriculum.
Children and parents will be introduced to ‘Sid the Science Kid’ and ‘Curious George’ clips from WKAR television at Family Activity nights.
Impression 5 Museum will visit classrooms, Family Activity Nights, Family Fun Nights and some classrooms will visit Impression 5 Museum.
